As a Senior Mobile App Developer :

• You’ll be part of our Engagement team, responsible for the full development lifecycle of the client experience, from the core of Barkibu’s strategy to deployment.
• The Engagement team manages several key initiatives: (i) our mobile apps, with approximately 2 releases per week; (ii) Bai, our AI assistant supporting millions of conversations; (iii) the Barkibu Card for paying vet bills with Barkibu money; (iv) our Customer Care efforts; and (v) our Donations project converting pet parents into active donors to shelters. You will work on these and other efforts.
• You have a product mindset, with experience iterating consumer products focused on growth. You are comfortable owning initiatives, reducing scope when needed, and shipping frequently to learn and improve. You will collaborate with engineers, user research, and product teams to influence user behavior.
• About 30% of your work will involve non-Flutter frameworks and languages, offering interesting projects. We seek someone curious, interested in exploring various technologies, and eager to impact our consumer products.

At Barkibu, a Mobile App Developer does much more than code. You’ll own features from ideation to deployment, wearing many hats. Your roles will include:

• A Business Analyst, breaking down user needs and product requirements.
• A Project Manager, leading initiatives from start to finish.
• A QA Specialist, ensuring high-quality releases.
• A DevOps engineer, deploying and maintaining infrastructure for smooth operations.
