Job summary

Aristocrat Gaming seeks a Senior ML Engineer to develop production ML and AI applications, including LLM-powered tools and RAG systems. You will work with Data Scientists, MLOps, and Data Engineers to deploy, monitor, and scale models across gaming platforms.

The role requires deep Python expertise, experience with ML frameworks, and a strong focus on performance and reliability. Hybrid work is expected with the Barcelona office several days per week.

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming and software engineering practices.
• Hands-on ML experience with supervised learning models and evaluation pipelines.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, tool calling, and agentic workflows.
• Data engineering fundamentals and SQL for data integration.
• Production ML deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and containerized environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop production ML solutions for prediction, recommendation, and personalization.
• Build AI applications including LLM-powered tools and RAG systems.
• Translate ML requirements into reliable software components and APIs.
• Analyze model quality, robustness, and failure modes.
• Collaborate with MLOps, Data Engineers, and product partners to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Improve performance, latency, and scalability of ML applications.
• Maintain clean Python code with tests, reviews, and documentation.
• Prepare data from multiple sources for training and evaluation.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
