We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Mineral Processing Manager to join our team (flexible locations).

About the Role

Reporting to the Sales Area Vice President (with a dotted line to the Director of Business Development & Strategy), you will drive growth by positioning and selling Sandvik’s cutting-edge optimization and comminution solutions. You’ll engage with senior mining executives, engineering houses, and site operations teams to design and deliver energy-efficient, cost-effective comminution systems tailored to mineralogy and throughput needs.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales & Business Development
  • Identify and qualify opportunities across the target sales area.
  • Develop and execute business plans and sales strategies.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and negotiations to closing deals.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite and site leadership.
  • Technical Leadership & Client Engagement
  • Assess comminution circuits and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Present compelling technical and financial business cases to executives and operations teams.
  • Partner with process engineers and site teams to implement performance improvements.
  • Project Coordination & Delivery
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, product, and service teams from proposal through commissioning.
  • Support site audits, oversee installations, and ensure performance optimization.
  • Provide input during negotiations to align scope, risks, and milestones.
  • Industry Representation
  • Represent Sandvik at conferences, tradeshows, and technical forums.
  • Collect market intelligence and competitor insights to shape strategy.
What We’re Looking For
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (equivalent qualifications accepted).
  • A Master’s or PhD in Mineral Processing/Comminution is highly advantageous.
Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in technical mining equipment or solutions sales, ideally in comminution circuits.
  • Proven track record in achieving revenue targets and managing full sales lifecycles.
  • Strong technical expertise in crushing, grinding, HPGR, and stirred mills.
  • Commercial acumen with experience in proposal development and negotiation.
  • Excellent executive communication skills — able to translate technical solutions into business value.
  • Project management experience across multidisciplinary teams and commissioning phases.
  • Well-established network within mining operators and engineering houses.
  • Willingness to travel extensively with a strong on-site presence.
  • Knowledge of Sandvik Crushing & Screening equipment is a distinct advantage.
