Scientific Communications Medical Writer

About This Role

The Medical Writer will support the development and maintenance of global medical information content, including writing and formatting, documentation, reporting, and metrics on global Medical Information activities.

The Medical Writer will work under the guidance of the Scientific Communications Manager regarding content and timelines, adhere to defined client standards, and ensure that processes and system standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production of new global standard scientific response content (gSSRC) as defined by the Scientific Communications Manager, following the Medical Information Style Guide, approved templates, and SOPs.
2. Update existing gSSRCs annually or when new data becomes available, based on guidance from the Scientific Communications Manager.
3. Adjust content based on review feedback.
4. Obtain final approval from the Scientific Communications Manager.
5. Perform peer reviews for style, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Experienced Medical Writer (3-5 years) with a scientific degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or Masters), with at least 3 years of experience in Medical Information content creation, and knowledge of Medical Information regulations, IT, and digital solutions.

Excellent medical writing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple activities efficiently.

Good communication, coordination, and time management skills.
