Senior Mechanical Engineer - Wind Turbine Load Carrying Structures (m / f / d)

YOUR TASKS :

• Support in the definition of the concept, detailed design and continuous improvements for the Load Carrying and Enclosure (LCE) sub-components: machinery frames and fiber enclosure parts
• Participation in cross-functional project meetings representing the LCE system
• Gather information related to the LCE components through the whole Wind Turbine life cycle
• Collaborate in the LCE system DFMEA, as well as coordination of the identified actions
• Participate in the definition of the LCE validation plan
• Support RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for field investigations related to the LCE system

YOUR PROFILE :

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable university degree
• Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to work across different teams; project management experience is an advantage.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the wind energy sector, specifically related to load carrying structures (e.g., casting, forging, welding, bolting, and fiber components)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• DFMEA development expertise, with a structured approach to risk assessment and mitigation will be positively considered
• Experience in TeamCenter is a plus.
• Availability to travel.
