Nextpower seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design of inverters and electrical cabinets, ensuring manufacturability and robust packaging. You will optimize heat dissipation and verify compliance with environmental and safety standards.

The role requires a strong background in 3D CAD, CFD, and FEA, plus hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and cross‑functional collaboration with electrical and software teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required; a master's or specialization is highly desirable.
• At least 8 years of experience in mechanical design of capital goods, electrical cabinets, power electronics, or automotive sectors.

Responsabilidades

• 3D modelling of equipment enclosure, support structures, ventilation ducts, and busbar mounting systems.
• Perform CFD analyses to optimize heat sinks and cooling systems.
• Conduct FEA to validate structural integrity under transportation stresses, earthquakes, impacts, and vibrations.
• Select materials considering cost, weight, corrosion, and dielectric properties.
