About the Venture

A European deeptech venture is on a mission to strengthen food security and defence through a next-generation modular platform. Operating in a fast-paced, R&D-driven environment, this early-stage company is building its foundational team, focusing on autonomy, rapid iteration, and impactful engineering. You will work closely with the leadership team and contribute to every stage of product development, from understanding end-user needs to prototyping, manufacturing, and scaling for market adoption. The goal within 12 months is to evolve from prototype to the first serial production-ready vehicle.

About the Team

The company was founded by two experienced engineers with over two decades of combined experience across machine learning, advanced hardware systems, and deeptech startups, with backgrounds in quantum computing, AI, aerospace, and automotive innovation. Please note this role is based in Valencia.

What You’ll Work On

• Use CAD, FEA, and engineering calculations to develop robust mechanical designs
• Perform analysis and testing to validate and optimize system performance
• Interface with suppliers and manage procurement for prototypes and production
• Collaborate with electronics, mechatronics, and software teams to bring prototypes to life
• Lead field testing and iterate on functional prototypes
• Optimize tools, processes, and designs for serial production

About You

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
• Demonstrated experience in hardware development, with a track record of taking designs from idea to reality
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a hands-on, pragmatic mindset
• Clear communicator with collaborative instincts, especially in multidisciplinary environments
