As our Senior Marketing Manager for Small Business, you will be a vital member of the ESI Marketing team, driving marketing strategies that shape the future of our products and services. Your focus will be on developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns to create demand, enhance product adoption, build brand equity, and deliver measurable growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact across EMEA.

This role will lead cross-team efforts to understand the Small Business buyer, develop tailored solutions, and deliver demand-generating activities to drive sales growth. Focusing on the UK and French markets, it will support our Small Business Digital Sales team by promoting solutions to companies with fewer than 350 employees. The role will collaborate with local Product, Field, and Digital Marketing teams to align best practices and maximize campaign impact across diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Market Insight : Develop a deep understanding of the small business sector in each country to define and execute marketing strategies aligned with segment growth, product launches, and regional expansion.
  2. Strategic Partnership : Collaborate with sales, product owners, marketing, content, finance, and other internal teams to influence and guide marketing initiatives.
  3. Collaborative Engagement : Build strong relationships within the organization to ensure goal alignment and efficient execution of marketing plans.
  4. Targeted Marketing Plan : Create comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the needs of small business clients.
  5. Value Proposition : Partner with product marketing to refine messaging and differentiate our solutions in the marketplace.
  6. Campaign Development : Design and implement innovative marketing campaigns aimed at small business owners to generate leads and engagement.
  7. Demand Generation : Work with digital marketing, PR, content, and events teams to promote ADP solutions to small business buyers and influencers.
  8. Inbound Strategy : Support inbound marketing efforts as the subject matter expert for the small business sector.
  9. Data-Driven Refinement : Use market feedback and intelligence to refine customer profiles and target key decision-makers.
  10. Performance Measurement : Monitor KPIs regularly and adjust campaigns as needed to meet demand and growth targets, working closely with sales for a full-funnel approach.
  11. Budget Management : Oversee marketing budgets for the small business segment, making ROI-driven decisions on resource allocation.

Success Metrics

Successful development and implementation of a multi-year growth strategy for Small Business, measured through sales revenue impact.

Required Knowledge / Skills :

  • 8+ years of experience leading B2B marketing campaigns across multiple countries, targeting companies with fewer than 500 employees.
  • Proven ability to develop, execute, and measure demand programs and campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on ROI and program measurement.
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments with entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate with sales teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms such as CRM (SFDC), marketing automation (Eloqua), and BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate across functions, including product management and sales.
  • Creative mindset with a penchant for innovative marketing solutions.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Behaviors: Curious, persistent, resilient, and proactive in tackling challenges.
  • Technical skills include proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Tableau, Google Analytics, Eloqua, and other MarTech tools.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Travel Needs :

Willingness and ability to travel within Europe as required.
