Descripción del empleo

We are looking for a highly strategic and creatively-driven Senior Manager responsible for developing the Spain marketing strategy for Disney+. This role is essential in shaping the long-term positioning of our streaming platform, defining the brand’s editorial voice, and driving world-class execution through operational excellence and cultural relevance. The Senior Manager will lead Creative Operations, Brand Campaigns, and Social Strategy for our streaming platform.

You’ll be responsible for building a cohesive and resonant brand strategy, overseeing flawless creative processes, and leading a high-performing social media approach that keeps us relevant, consistent, and emotionally connected to our audience. The focus, and measurement of success, is to build brand awareness, understanding, and consideration of Disney+, as well as excitement around high-priority content drops, to help drive sign-ups, subscriptions, and loyalty in partnership with the performance & retention teams.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  1. Brand Strategy: Lead Disney+’s marketing strategy in Spain, focusing on forward planning, identifying trends, and exploring growth opportunities. Develop and evolve the local brand positioning, purpose, and narrative. Understand key audience attitudes and behaviors to connect effectively. Translate business goals and consumer insights into long-term strategies that inform marketing, creative, content, and product decisions. Build the brand through storytelling, focusing on audience perception, brand equity, and emotional connection. Define brand architecture, messaging frameworks, and creative guidelines. Collaborate with Brand Managers to ensure campaign alignment. Analyze campaign performance and market dynamics to optimize ROI. Connect strategic thinking with acquisition and retention strategies. Lead, motivate, and develop the brand team, fostering a high-performance culture. Work closely with media agencies to maximize growth opportunities.
  2. Creative Operations: Manage end-to-end creative project workflows from briefing to delivery, ensuring timely, on-brand, and within-budget execution. Coordinate between internal teams and external agencies. Optimize creative processes, tools, and production pipelines to scale campaign execution.
  3. Social Media Strategy: Define and own the local social media approach, ensuring a cohesive narrative across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube. Drive ongoing content and campaign activations to maximize engagement and cultural relevance. Oversee a team of strategists, creators, and community managers to grow social presence and voice.
  4. Analytics: Collaborate with Insights & Analytics teams to prioritize consumer insights. Use analytics to inform content development and performance optimization.

Experience required: 4+ years in marketing strategy at a managerial level or equivalent within FMCG, entertainment, or subscription streaming sectors. Proven success in complex matrix organizations. Strong brand strategy and execution skills. Deep understanding of digital content merchandising, platform curation, and UI. Knowledge of consumer behavior, competition, and category dynamics to craft effective campaigns across channels.
