Senior Manager, EMEAI Market Development (Pharma and Biopharma)

The Senior Market Development Manager, Pharma and Biopharma is responsible for developing and executing demand generation strategies to support the growth of the Pharma and Biopharma business in EMEAI. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific and business understanding of these markets and be well networked within associated communities.

You will act as a business owner, analyze key performance indicators, integrate market knowledge, and develop strategic directions to support commercial success. Additionally, you will craft multi-channel marketing strategies to drive demand, lead generation, and market visibility, considering market trends and competitive positioning.

This role reports to the Director, Marketing & Business Development and is part of the EMEAI commercial organization. It is fully remote within Europe or the UK.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Design and implement creative, measurable, multi-channel outbound marketing campaigns aligned with customer buying journeys and EMEAI objectives.
  • Mentor and manage one direct report.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and help accelerate deal pipelines.
  • Lead participation in regional trade shows, create market-driven messaging, and achieve demand generation targets.
  • Prepare data summaries on KPIs, competitor strategies, and market trends, and develop actionable strategies.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams to enhance customer engagement and recruitment.
  • Identify storytelling opportunities to increase SCIEX visibility and market share.

Minimum requirements include :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or business field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in relevant markets with experience in sales, marketing, product management, or scientific roles, including expertise with HPLC and Mass Spectrometry.
  • Proven track record of managing complex initiatives across teams.
  • Experience translating strategic plans into actionable, data-driven results.

Travel and physical requirements :

  • Ability to travel up to 30% within EMEAI.

Preferred experience :

  • Market research and customer insights experience.
  • Advanced CRM skills (e.g., Salesforce).
