An established industry player is seeking a Senior Material Planner to enhance their supply chain operations. Formación

  • 2 to 5 years of operational experience in Supply Chain Material Planning.

At Mur&Partners, we offer a position as Senior Material Planner for a renowned international company.

The main mission of this position will be to develop the medium-to-long-term Supply Planning for materials, including the detailed scheduling of various raw materials, the master production schedule, and the distribution requirements planning (DRP) for relevant assets within the regional network. Additionally, contribute to supply reviews and the S&OE process, overseeing inventory levels across the network, including replenishment.

Responsibilities

  • Translate the production plan into a medium-to-long-term material requirements plan, ensuring the availability of production materials in accordance with the forecast.
  • Ensure a correct supply of materials in terms of quantity and timing, optimizing order sizes and minimizing obsolescence.
  • Maintain MRP parameters for time and quantity, consolidate requirements across categories, and act on any MRP exceptions according to the production plan / finite schedule.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and perform a Rough Cut Capacity Planning for all material requirements, comparing it with qualified supply sources to support the production plan at an effective cost.
  • Assist in inventory analysis by reviewing inventory policies, tracking and managing low-turnover products, and monitoring obsolete items.
  • Maintain select manufacturing parameters (including restrictions).
  • Identify risks or opportunities in material sourcing and escalate issues internally and externally as appropriate.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize and enhance planning performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
  • Advanced English level required (C1).
  • 2 to 5 years of operational experience in Supply Chain Material Planning.
  • Experience with advanced Planning tools (SAP, APO, Kinaxis, o9, OMP, etc.).
  • Experience with ERP systems, Excel, and Power BI.
