Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Unit is seeking a qualified individual passionate about utilizing healthcare data and platforms to drive business innovation. This role involves leading the development and maintenance of data management solutions, focusing on business process analysis and functional data management. Reporting to the Head of Data Management in IT, the role collaborates with Data Governance Offices, IT Business Partners, Data Capability leads, and Platform Owners.

Accountabilities

1. Manage end-to-end delivery and maintenance of data products for RDU Operations and Finance functions, translating business demands into data foundation needs and implementing data products according to RDU standards.
2. Manage the functional roadmap of core and analytical data products aligned with business processes.
3. Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT system owners across MDM, RDM, and Data Catalogue to ensure adoption of FAIR and Trustworthy data standards.
4. Work with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Quality Managers to promote data standardization and best practices.
5. Support the development and implementation of conceptual models, business glossaries, and ontologies in collaboration with SMEs and Information Architects.
6. Ensure proficiency in R/Python, SQL, and prior experience with Pharma Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance data assets and processes. Exposure to SAP, Anaplan, TrackWise, and LIMS is preferred.
