Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Unit is seeking a qualified individual passionate about utilizing healthcare data and platforms to drive innovation. This role involves leading the development and maintenance of data management solutions, focusing on business process analysis and functional data management. The position reports to the Head of Data Management in IT and collaborates with Data Governance Offices, IT Business Partners, Data Capability leads, and Platform Owners.

Accountabilities

1. Manage the end-to-end delivery and maintenance of data products for RDU Operations and Finance, translating business needs into data solutions that meet RDU standards.
2. Develop and oversee the roadmap for core and analytical data products aligned with business processes.
3. Coordinate with business stakeholders and IT system owners across MDM, RDM, and Data Catalogue to ensure adherence to FAIR principles and data trustworthiness standards.
4. Work with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Quality Managers to promote data standardization and best practices.
5. Support the development of conceptual models, business glossaries, and ontologies by liaising with SMEs and Information Architects.
6. Ensure the delivery and maintenance of data products that support business functions, adhering to established standards.
7. Collaborate with teams to implement data standards and practices.
8. Utilize working knowledge of R/Python, SQL, and experience with Pharma Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance data assets. Familiarity with SAP, Anaplan, TrackWise, and LIMS is preferred.
