General Summary :
The Senior Manager, Compute Consumer Channel Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the consumer channel sales strategy and identifying new opportunities to drive revenue and grow share of PCs enabled by Qualcomm Snapdragon technologies at large European consumer electronics retailers, with a focus on Spain, Italy, and Portugal. The role requires deep engagement with PC OEM consumer sales teams, top Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian consumer electronics retailers, as well as Microsoft. The candidate should have extensive experience in developing relationships within large, complex organizations globally, managing sales targets, and understanding technically complex products and how to position them to a broad audience.
Responsibilities Include :
- Build channel account plans with top consumer electronics retail partners, track progress, identify and address gaps to successfully land a portfolio of devices in the market.
- Own and drive channel analytics for the Compute segment, providing high-value insights into product strategy, leadership meetings, and customer discussions.
- Build, review, and forecast pipeline, providing additional support as needed.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams including product, engineering, marketing, and sales to share best practices.
- Manage relationships with key partners and vendors.
Skills / Experience :
Deep expertise in the Consumer Retail and Go-To-Market strategies for PC OEMs.Knowledge of partner and customer engagement models, timelines, and decision points to help align and influence decisions for Windows on Snapdragon products.Experience in sales, product management, or business development of complex technology products in compute industries, with knowledge of global PC OEMs and consumer electronics markets.Strategic account management skills and the ability to operate effectively across organizations and with customers.Experience in sell-out and go-to-market strategies with consumer electronics retailers and e-tailers in cooperation with PC OEMs.Technical expertise and hands-on experience in mobile and PC technologies.Understanding of supply chain, product development, and marketing of compute products such as notebooks, desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.Experience negotiating pricing and marketing funds with large retail partners.Excellent communication, education, and evangelization skills internally and externally.Strong interpersonal skills, creative problem-solving, and analytical abilities.Self-motivated and result-oriented.Preferred Qualifications :
8+ years of consumer channel (retail, online) and marketing experience in technology companies.Fluent in Spanish or Italian and English; knowledge of both languages is a strong advantage.Master's degree in business or technology preferred.Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.Excellent communication skills and credibility.Organized, resourceful, and adaptable.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or related business field.10+ years in sales, business development, or product management in the PC or consumer electronics retail industry.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer and committed to accessibility for individuals with disabilities during the application and hiring process.
