Senior Manager Compliance

As Senior Manager Compliance, you will report to the Compliance Officer Southern Europe and support the activities of the senior leadership team within their region in implementing a risk-based compliance program, specifically in Spain & Portugal.

What you will do :

  1. Support the Compliance Officer Southern Europe with overseeing the Ethics and Compliance program for Spain & Portugal.
  2. Implement the Ethics and Compliance program components within Spain & Portugal to support the Compliance Officer in empowering business leadership and effectively managing risk for the company.
  3. Execute programs to ensure organizational compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards across regions.
  4. Support the development of effective ethics and compliance controls, including written standards, education, communication, auditing, monitoring, third-party oversight, and corrective actions.
  5. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the compliance program, reflecting changes, clarifications, or updates in applicable laws, regulations, policies, and business strategies.
  6. Maintain knowledge of the businesses and their operations; use this knowledge to inform strategy and goals based on business and compliance metrics.
  7. Recommend improvements to increase efficiency, simplicity, and speed of action.
  8. Support Compliance Committees and Ethics and Compliance leadership in reporting on the status of the compliance program regularly.
  9. Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  10. Raise awareness of the compliance program and promote accountability for ethics and integrity.
  11. Foster a mindset of continuous improvement and propose enhancements to the program based on industry trends and best practices.

What You Need :

  • B.A. or B.S. from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience.
  • Knowledge of effective ethics and compliance programs, including MedTech Europe code and other relevant standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
  • High level of professionalism, business acumen, judgment, and the ability to influence without authority.
  • Ability to drive impactful work and projects within the organization.
  • Willingness to embrace and support change in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to execute tasks and projects independently with limited oversight.

Preferred :

  • Professional accreditation.
