Job summary

APM Terminals in Valencia, Spain, seeks a Maintenance Planner to own the terminal's maintenance plan and coordinate across maintenance, operations, inventory, procurement and finance. You will drive scheduling, resource forecasting and budget planning to ensure reliable operations in a port environment.

Proficiency in CMMS/ERP systems (SAP, IFS, Maximo, Infor EAM) and strong analytical skills are essential, with fluency in Spanish and working knowledge of English to engage with cross-border

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in heavy-asset environments.
• Ability to coordinate across maintenance, operations, inventory, procurement and finance.
• Strong knowledge of lifecycle planning, work scoping, demand planning and risk prioritisation.
• Proficient in CMMS/ERP platforms such as SAP, IFS, Maximo, or Infor EAM.
• Fluent in Spanish; working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the terminal maintenance plan with accuracy and schedule adherence.
• Forecast workload and resource requirements.
• Plan preventive and predictive maintenance, refurbishments, and major interventions.
• Govern work order planning, scheduling, and documentation.
• Prioritise maintenance backlog using risk and availability.
• Build maintenance OPEX budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Use CMMS/ERP analytics to monitor performance.
