Formación

The ARQUIMEA Research Center (ARC), established in 2019, focuses on inventing future technologies through an environment of innovation and excellence at the European level. It hosts senior and junior researchers worldwide developing disruptive technologies and business models to drive socio-economic growth.

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to develop, train, optimize, and benchmark cutting-edge deep learning methods for computer vision, 3D reconstruction, and remote sensing applications, including Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze real and synthetic training datasets, especially SAR data such as raw data and focused images.
  • Collaborate with researchers to design, implement, test, and benchmark deep learning methods.
  • Analyze implementation of state-of-the-art techniques.
  • Conduct hyperparameter tuning and optimize resource usage during training.
  • Perform experimental validation of new methods and benchmark against existing standards.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ML engineering, including model development, training, optimization, deployment, and evaluation.
  • At least 3 years of experience in remote sensing and geospatial data analysis.
  • Expertise in SAR data processing: preprocessing, radiometric calibration, speckle filtering, geometric correction, and domain adaptation.
  • Strong Python skills, with experience in ML frameworks like PyTorch.
  • Deep understanding of ML, especially DNN architectures, supervised and self-supervised learning.
  • Experience with Git, Docker, fast prototyping, and deployment of DNN models for computer vision.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with radiance fields techniques such as NeRF and 3D Gaussian Splatting, especially in non-optical modalities like SAR.
  • Leadership experience in R&D teams of up to four members.
  • PhD in Computer Science, AI, ML, Robotics, or Remote Sensing.
