Area of Work

You will join our global Machine Learning and Data Science team, responsible for building products used daily by doctors in Brazil, Mexico, Poland, Italy, Spain, and Germany. Our mission with Noa.ai (https://noa.ai) is to reduce administrative burdens and eventually assist with medical tasks through AI. Our flagship product, Noa Notes, records consultations, transcribes audio, and drafts structured medical records. We operate cross-functionally, moving ideas from prototypes to full production using state-of-the-art ML frameworks and MLOps practices.

Role

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will own end-to-end ML capabilities within your product area, driving technical excellence and shaping our ML tech stack and workflows. You will work with a talented team of engineers and scientists, reporting to the Head of Machine Learning & Data Science.

Our culture combines rigorous ML practices with pragmatic delivery, enabling us to ship value quickly and iterate fast. You will work on cutting-edge AI in healthcare, leveraging technologies like Python, PyTorch, Whisper, FastAPI, Kubernetes, and AWS.

What you will be doing

• Lead ML initiatives, collaborating with scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver AI solutions supporting business goals.
• Design, deploy, and improve ML services for various data types, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Develop technical roadmaps, optimize GPU strategies, and address platform bottlenecks.
• Research and deploy LLM-powered retrieval solutions, promoting industry best practices.
• Enhance team effectiveness by evolving frameworks and workflows.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for training and annotation.
• Bring 5+ years of relevant experience in fast-paced, product-driven environments.
• Proven impact in ML initiatives, with expertise in MLOps, deep learning frameworks, and deploying large language models.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills.
