HBX Group, a global travel tech leader, seeks an M&A Senior Lead to drive inorganic growth through acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments. You will own origination, evaluation, negotiation and execution, partnering with Legal, Tax, Finance, Strategy and operations.

Based in a fast-paced, publicly listed environment, you will lead cross-border transactions, build financial models and investor materials, and mentor junior team members while upholding governance and confidentiality

Formación

  • 8–10+ years in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development or related strategic finance.
  • Proven track record leading complex M&A transactions from origination to completion.
  • Experience building financial models, valuations and investment recommendations.
  • Experience working with senior executives and Board-level stakeholders.
  • International/cross-border transaction experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead end-to-end M&A transactions from origination through closing.
  • Coordinate valuation, due diligence, and transaction structuring activities.
  • Engage with Finance, Legal, Tax, Strategy and operating teams.
  • Prepare investment memos and board presentations; deliver clear narratives.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The M&A Senior Lead will play a critical role in supporting HBX Group's inorganic growth agenda through the identification, evaluation, negotiation and execution of acquisitions, strategic partnerships, divestments and other corporate development initiatives.

As a senior member of the Investor Relations & Corporate Development team, the role combines strategic thinking, financial expertise, commercial judgement and transaction leadership to create long-term value for the Group. The M&A Senior Lead will lead complex transactions from origination through closing while acting as a trusted adviser to senior leadership and partnering closely with Legal, Tax, Finance, Strategy and operational business teams.

The role requires a highly analytical and commercially focused professional capable of operating autonomously within a fast-paced, publicly listed environment while maintaining the highest standards of governance, confidentiality and execution excellence.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Origination & Strategic Development
  • Support the development and execution of HBX Group's inorganic growth strategy.
  • Proactively identify acquisition, investment and partnership opportunities aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and develop investment theses for potential transactions.
  • Conduct market, industry and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and attractive sectors.
Transaction Leadership & Execution
  • Lead end-to-end execution of acquisitions, divestments and strategic projects from assessment through closing.
  • Manage valuation, financial modelling, due diligence and transaction structuring activities.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and external advisers throughout the transaction process.
  • Drive negotiations and support transaction documentation and execution.
Strategic Analysis & Board Support
  • Develop high-quality financial analyses and investment recommendations.
  • Prepare presentations and briefing materials for Senior Management, Executive Committees and the Board.
  • Assess strategic fit, value creation potential and investment risks.
  • Support key corporate initiatives and strategic projects beyond M&A activities.
Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as a trusted partner across Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Strategy and Commercial teams.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for external advisers including investment banks, consultants and professional services firms.
  • Build relationships across the organisation to facilitate effective decision-making and transaction execution.
  • Provide technical coaching and guidance to junior team members.
  • Review and challenge analytical outputs to ensure high quality standards.
  • Contribute to the development of team processes, tools and best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, including high proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and valuation techniques.
  • Very strong stakeholder management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with strong stakeholder management and the ability to craft clear, compelling narratives.
  • Advanced project management and organizational ability.
  • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen,
  • Fluency in business-level English (written and spoken).

  • 8–10+ years of experience within Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, Transaction Services or a related strategic finance environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex M&A transactions from origination through completion.
  • Proven track record of developing financial models, valuations and investment recommendations.
  • Experience working directly with senior executives and Board-level stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in dynamic environments.
  • International and cross-border transaction experience preferred.
  • Exposure to the travel, technology, digital marketplace or consumer sectors would be advantageous

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or related field.
