• Experience in Accounts Receivable or Collections.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Proactively collect outstanding debt via emails, calls, and campaigns.

Job Summary

The Credit & Collections Executive is responsible for managing collections and reducing credit risk across an assigned customer portfolio. The role ensures the timely collection of outstanding debt, supports cash flow performance, resolves invoice-related queries, and maintains accurate customer account reconciliations. Working closely with customers and internal teams, the successful candidate will help improve collection efficiency while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively collect outstanding debt through emails, calls, and collection campaigns.
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and reduce overdue balances.
• Manage and recover difficult-to-collect debt through negotiation and payment plans.
• Investigate and resolve invoice, payment, and account-related queries.
• Collaborate with internal departments to clarify billing discrepancies and support timely payment.
• Reconcile customer payments and account balances accurately.
• Maintain up-to-date records of collections activities and payment status.
• Support cash flow management by minimizing bad debt exposure and financial risk.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Collections, or a similar finance role.
• Experience managing customer debt and payment recovery processes.
• Strong understanding of account reconciliations and cash collection procedures.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with customers while managing difficult conversations.
• Strong problem‑solving and attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across Finance and Operations.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; additional languages are advantageous.
