Charles Taylor is expanding in Spain and seeks experienced Loss Adjusters to manage Property & Casualty claims from mainland Spain, with occasional site visits required. You will coordinate with international teams, negotiate settlements, and build new business relationships across Europe.

We welcome senior candidates, including Director level, to join a global leader in insurance services and technology solutions. The role offers remote work from Spain with travel to client sites as needed.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years’ loss adjusting / claims handling experience.
• Experience of Property & Casualty claims handling recommended but good experience in other lines may be considered.
• Enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable approach to work is essential.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; if other European languages spoken, considered a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of Property & Casualty claims in Spain.
• Undertake site visits and meetings with Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers, Claimants, Insureds and other interested parties.
• Prepare reports commenting in detail on all aspects of the claim including legal and policy liability considerations, potential quantum and future actions.
• Instruct and control surveyors, engineers, lawyers, forensic accountants and other experts as necessary.
• Communicate regularly with all interested parties, calculating and approving interim payments, preparing interim reports and other communications.
• Calculate and agree settlement of claims and preparing accurate final reports.
• Work closely with the team to develop the existing Property & Casualty business for current clients and identify and bring in new business, as well as build new relationships and networks both internally and externally.
• Identify any key business development and marketing opportunities in the Property & Casualty area and with support, manage these to successful conclusion.
• Be an integral part to develop the London and European markets and CTA’s brand profile globally.
• Carry out Ad Hoc duties and tasks that are allocated to you at the discretion of management and that are within your capabilities and within the scope of your post.
