Charles Taylor is expanding in Spain and seeking senior Loss Adjusters to oversee Financial Lines claims across Spain. The role involves remote work from mainland Spain with required site visits, travel to meetings with insurers, reinsurers, brokers, claimants, and insureds, and leadership in developing existing and new business.

We welcome candidates at senior levels, including Director, who are bilingual in English and Spanish and ready to lead complex, high-value cases while collaborating

Formación

• Minimum 3 years' loss adjusting / claims handling experience.
• Experience of Financial Lines claims handling recommended but good experience in other lines may be considered.
• Enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable approach to work is essential.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; if other European languages spoken, considered a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of Financial Lines claims in Spain, including Professional Indemnity, D&O, Cyber, BBB and Commercial Crime.
• Undertake site visits and meetings with Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers, Claimants, Insureds and other interested parties.
• Prepare reports commenting in detail on all aspects of the claim including legal and policy liability considerations, potential quantum and future actions.
• Instruct and control surveyors, engineers, lawyers, forensic accountants and other experts as necessary.
• Communicate regularly with all interested parties, calculating and approving interim payments, preparing interim reports and other communications.
• Calculate and agree settlement of claims and preparing accurate final reports.
• Develop the Financial Lines business for current clients and bring in new business, building relationships.
