Jobgether is seeking a senior Linux Platform Engineer based in Spain to own and evolve enterprise Linux platforms across on‑premises and cloud environments. The role focuses on platform strategy, automation, security, reliability, and lifecycle management at scale.

You will drive Infrastructure as Code, automation, observability, and DevOps practices to deliver resilient platforms. Mentored by senior leaders, you will influence cross‑team decisions and lead end‑to‑end initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7–10+ years of progressive Linux platform engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in enterprise Linux distributions and large-scale deployments.
• Experience building automation and IaC solutions.
• Strong virtualization, networking, and storage basics.
• Security hardening, patching, and compliance know-how.
• Remote/hybrid collaboration across multiple teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own enterprise Linux platform roadmap and lifecycle management.
• Define engineering standards, platform build patterns, and reliability processes.
• Design scalable Linux solutions across on-prem and cloud.
• Lead architecture discussions and design reviews.
• Drive automation and IaC with tools like Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python.
• Mentor engineers and promote platform engineering maturity.
• Ensure observability and incident resolution with strong RCAs.
• Collaborate with security on hardening and patching.
• Oversee backups, DR, and recoverability.
• Work with storage and network teams for integrated solutions.
