Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal expertise in areas such as accounting, international taxation, corporate law and financial partnerships.
• Experience working with international regulatory frameworks and cross‑border operations.
• Proven ability to lead projects, identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with teams across functions and markets.
• Interest in global expansion and implementing compliant processes for new markets.

Responsibilities

• Define legal requirements for products as they develop and support expansion into new markets.
• Advise operational teams on servicing clients from markets and products under your portfolio.
• Monitor upcoming regulatory and legal developments beyond product scope.
• Draft, review and negotiate partnerships, policies and vendor agreements.
• Advise AML and GDPR teams on interpreting guidance and improving risk management processes.
• Contribute to establishing legal processes such as contract management, compliance tracking and due diligence.
• Collaborate with Operations, Growth, Product and Engineering teams to understand startup dynamics.
