Job summary

Hilti España in Madrid is seeking a pragmatic, business‑minded Senior Legal Counsel to support Spain and Portugal. You will work at the intersection of law, innovation and global business, handling routine commercial contracts to high‑stakes infrastructure projects.

Fluent English required; Spanish proficiency is advantageous. You will draft, review and negotiate B2B agreements, manage compliance, provide training, and coordinate with external counsel as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with a Master's degree in Law and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in B2B environments serving construction, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and project contracts.
• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is advantageous for Spain/Portugal operations.
• Knowledge of GDPR, competition law and compliance fundamentals.
• Familiarity with large customer projects, framework agreements or EPC/data centre projects.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of B2B contracts.
• Develop and maintain terms and conditions, templates, and legal playbooks.
• Support tenders, RFQs, and RFPs for energy, industrial and infrastructure sectors.
• Manage pre-litigation matters and coordinate external counsel.
• Deliver legal training to commercial and operational teams.
