Responsibilities:
- Negotiate, draft, and close complex in-country and cross-border legal agreements with clients and partners worldwide, including master services agreements.
- Collaborate with business leaders in EMEA and North America to achieve successful contract negotiations.
- Advise all levels of ADP associates on contract-related matters to ensure alignment with company policies and practices.
- Partner with Sales and other stakeholders to improve contract processes and documentation.
- Create and maintain standard agreements and develop contract clause libraries and guidelines.
- Conduct training sessions on contract terms and processes for sales and business teams.
- Assist in responding to RFPs and represent the Global Contracts Team in strategic projects.
- Provide legal advice on other matters as needed, maintaining ADP's culture of innovation and growth.
- Manage projects and perform special assignments as directed by senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- UK BAR Certification and licensed to practice law in the UK.
- At least 8 years of relevant legal experience, including 2 years at a top international or UK law firm and 5 years in-house.
- Experience working with business leaders and cross-functional projects.
- Familiarity with European or U.S. privacy laws preferred.
- Experience with outsourcing, technology contracts, and software licensing is a plus.
- Knowledge of M&A and civil law systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective interface at all management levels and with external partners.
- Assertiveness combined with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Self-motivated, capable of managing transactions independently and anticipating issues.
- Willingness to travel limitedly; position based in Barcelona or London with remote work options two days per week.
