Job Description :

We are looking for a Senior Legal & Compliance Specialist to perform the duties assigned to the Legal & Compliance area within Corporate Governance at Admiral Seguros. The main functions of the role are the following:

• Provide advice, support and training to business areas on applicable regulations.
• Know and apply Admiral policies and procedures in their area.
• Review documents (in English and Spanish) and contracts to ensure their compliance with legislation, Admiral policies and business needs.
• Support for resolving legal queries.
• Record and follow-up of regulatory interactions.
• Monitor the regulations applicable to Admiral and interact and support the business units on applicable regulations.
• Participate in carrying out compliance reviews according to the annual plan.

Requirements:

• Graduate in Law
• 4 / 5 years of experience in a similar position in the Compliance / Legal department of an insurance company
• High level of written and read English
• Advanced level of handling of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
• Advanced handling of the GSuite environment (Google Drive, Sheets, Presentations and Docs)
• Certifications in compliance and insurance sector courses and other subjects will be a plus.
