JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Lawyer with extensive experience in handling complex legal disputes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of contract law, liabilities, indemnities, and the legal implications of breaches and unfulfillments. The candidate should demonstrate strong critical thinking, procedural strategy, and expertise in the burden of proof and procedural techniques.

This role supports the corporate legal area, ensuring compliance with local corporate requirements and serving as a liaison to the Finance, HR, Tax, and Accounting teams for questions related to intragroup agreements, annual accounts, and financing agreements. The role involves reviewing drafted documents, liaising with directors, external advisers, and local offices globally to gather input, signatures, and finalize documentation. Coordination with external company secretarial advisors and lawyers is also required.

Responsibilities :

  • Supporting company secretarial activities, including approval of annual financial statements and UBO filings.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, board minutes, powers of attorney, intercompany contracts, loans, share certificates, and registers.
  • Maintaining corporate books correctly.
  • Reviewing finance and treasury contracts.
  • Collaborating with operational, financial, tax, legal, and compliance teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Communicating daily with external advisors, managing outside counsel, and assisting with KYC requirements and document signatures.
  • Managing administrative tasks such as organizing secretarial data, preparing spreadsheets, booking couriers, and arranging notary, courier, and translation services.

Skills :

  • Experience working in large organizations.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and software.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Accountability and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
  • Fluent English communication skills at all levels.
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in litigation or dispute resolution in a large law firm.

Qualifications :

  • Practicing member of the Bar Association for at least 3-4 years.
