JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Lawyer with extensive experience in handling complex legal disputes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of contract law, liabilities, indemnities, and the legal implications of breaches and unfulfillments. Strong critical thinking, procedural strategy, and expertise in the burden of proof and procedural techniques are essential.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expert legal advice on contract interpretation, liabilities, indemnities, and breach consequences.
  • Assist in reviewing contracts and drafting settlements to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Analyze and assess the legal impact of contract breaches and unfulfillments.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for the company.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents.
  • Collaborate with legal professionals and stakeholders to resolve disputes efficiently.
  • Coordinate with other departments to gather information and evidence for cases.
  • Apply critical thinking to evaluate case merits and develop procedural strategies.
  • Manage and present the burden of proof effectively in collaboration with external lawyers.
  • Liaise with external lawyers regarding contact, fees, costs, and legal strategy.

Skills

  • Experience working in large organizations.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Accountability for terms and priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English at all levels.
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in litigation and dispute resolution, preferably in large law firms.

Qualifications

  • Must be a practicing member of the Bar Association for at least 3-4 years.
  • Understanding of legal situations across different countries’ laws and regulations.
  • Experience coordinating with other departments to assess risks, gather evidence, and implement strategies.
