JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Lawyer with extensive experience in handling complex legal disputes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of contract law, liabilities, indemnities, and the legal implications of breaches and unfulfillments. The candidate should demonstrate strong critical thinking, procedural strategy, and expertise in the burden of proof and procedural technique.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert legal advice on contract interpretation, liabilities, indemnities, and breach consequences.
  • Reviewing contracts and drafting settlements to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Analyzing and assessing the legal impact of contract breaches and unfulfillments.
  • Developing and implementing litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for the company.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing legal documents.
  • Collaborating with legal professionals and stakeholders to resolve disputes efficiently.
  • Coordinating with other departments to gather information and evidence for cases.
  • Applying critical thinking to evaluate case merits and develop procedural strategies.
  • Managing and presenting the burden of proof, collaborating with external lawyers.
  • Liaising with external lawyers regarding contact, fees, costs, and legal strategy.

Skills required:

  • Experience working in large organizations.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong synthesis capacity to distill complex information.
  • Accountability for terms and priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate in English at all levels.
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in litigation and dispute resolution in large law firms.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a practicing member of the Bar Association for at least 3-4 years.

Key challenges include:

  • Understanding and addressing legal situations according to each country's laws worldwide.
  • Coordinating with other departments to understand situations, assess risks, gather information, and manage communications.
