Formación

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Lawyer with extensive experience in handling complex legal disputes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of contract law, liabilities, indemnities, and the legal implications of breaches and unfulfillments. The role requires strong critical thinking, procedural strategy, and expertise in burden of proof and procedural techniques. The lawyer will support the corporate legal team by ensuring compliance with local corporate requirements and liaising with Finance, HR, Tax, and Accounting teams on intragroup agreements, annual accounts, and financing agreements. Responsibilities include reviewing drafted documents, liaising with directors, external advisers, and local offices globally to gather input, signatures, and finalize documentation. The role also involves coordinating external company secretarial advisors and lawyers.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing company secretarial support, including approval of annual financial statements and UBO filings.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, board minutes, powers of attorney, intercompany contracts and loans, share certificates/registers.
  • Maintaining corporate books accurately.
  • Reviewing finance and treasury contracts.
  • Collaborating with operations, finance, tax, legal, accounting, and compliance teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Communicating daily with external advisors.
  • Supporting internal departments by managing outside counsel and external resources.
  • Assisting with KYC requirements and signature collection.
  • Handling general administration, organizing secretarial data, and coordinating services like notaries, couriers, and translations.

Skills: Familiarity with large organization workflows, proficiency in legal research tools, advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills, strong synthesis abilities, attention to detail, organizational skills, and fluency in English. Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in litigation/dispute resolution in a large law firm.

Qualifications: Must be a practicing member of the Bar Association for at least 3-4 years.
