• Solid experience building backend applications in Java and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and messaging systems.

We're now growing our engineering team in Spain to power the next phase of our journey — and we’re looking for passionate Backend Developers (Java) who want to code the future of finance with us.

What you’ll be doing :

• Develop, improve, and maintain robust backend components in Java using Spring Boot and modern microservice architectures .
• Work on both client-facing projects and our internal product stack — everything we build has impact.
• Help architect scalable, secure, and performant systems across cloud-native environments.
• Contribute to CI / CD automation and DevOps pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, design, and domain experts in an agile and highly interdisciplinary team.
• Shape the engineering culture and best practices of a fast-growing startup.

What we’re looking for :

You are a curious, pragmatic problem-solver with a passion for tech and finance. You care about elegant solutions as much as getting things done.

Ideally, you bring :

• Solid experience building backend applications in Java and Spring Boot .
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and messaging systems (Kafka, MQ).
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle preferred).
• Exposure to modern DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, SonarQube).
• Bonus : Experience with workflow engines (Flowable, JBPM, Drools).
• Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar.
• Previous experience in banking, fintech , or financial services .
• Strong English communication skills (our team language). Spanish or German is a plus.
• Willing to work in the office for min. 3 days a week.
• A startup mindset — adaptable, pragmatic, and self-driven.
