Formación

Project description Candidate will be part of one of the teams working for Bingel Islands. Bingel is the adaptive all-round platform for primary education where teachers and pupils are central. Bingel assists the teacher in achieving his or her main goal : getting the best learning outcomes for each pupil. Its different modules support the teacher not only by offering the best quality teaching materials, but also by offering a range of time-saving solutions on planning, preparing, coaching and assessing. Pupils in Belgium, Finland, Sweden and the Netherlands love Bingel as their gamified learning platform for every-day use. Their personal avatar joins them while they’re learning and adapted practicing, with which they earn virtual money that can be used for buying avatar accessories or games.

Work setup We offer two work models : a hybrid setup (three days working from home, two days in the office) or a remote setup with occasional visits to our Barcelona office for team events, training, and business trips. Your designated home office should be in Spain, and you are expected to work exclusively within

Spain.

Role responsibilities : Help build the most innovative and engaging educational applications. As a JAVA developer, you will be part of one of our fantastic Scrum teams. You develop new functionalities, solve problems and make analyses of more complex issues. By making a proof of concept, you help the team make technical choices where necessary. You contribute to support tickets and do minor operations work. There's also a rotating role where someone is responsible for monitoring the application and checking log.

You do not lose sight of quality and motivate your team members to do the same.

Must-have requirements - + 6 years

of Java (11or higher) - Amazon Web Services (EC2, CloudFormation, S3, CloudFront, Elasticache, Lambdas) -NoSQL databases (MongoDB); Gradle, REST, Spring, MySQL - Passion for building secure, scalable, high-availability solutions - Previous experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe...) - Fluent communication and documentation skills in

English and Spanish. - A positive attitude and ability to work in an international team
