Capitole, in Valencia, Spain, seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to enhance quality, reliability and performance of software for the utilities sector within an Agile team. You will build automated tests for APIs and UI, develop Playwright/TypeScript frameworks, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable secure deployments.

The role requires 4+ years in QA, deep automation skills, English (C1), and experience with REST/microservices, Git and Azure DevOps.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA with hands-on test automation.
• Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience with API testing, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of asynchronous architectures and messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Professional English (C1) is mandatory.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute functional and technical test strategies, scenarios, and test plans.
• Design, maintain, and execute automated tests for APIs and user interfaces.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support Continuous Testing.
• Manage test plans, test execution, defect tracking, and test coverage using Azure DevOps.
• Analyze test results and collaborate with Development, DevOps, Platform, Architecture, and Product teams.
• Contribute to test environment and test data management.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Refinement, and PI Planning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and quality metrics.
