ING Hubs Spain in Madrid is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join the DDoS Squad within the Global Security Organization (GSO). You will design, develop and maintain software that manages firewall rules and strengthens ING's global network security.

Working in an international, Agile/DevOps setting, you will use Spring Boot and Java, implement CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and manage Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments.

Formación

• Experience with Spring Boot (or Java EE) in enterprise environments.
• CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices experience.
• Kubernetes and/or OpenShift knowledge.
• Understanding of security and risk in software development.
• Automation/orchestration tools such as Helm, Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong communication and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant IT discipline and strong English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and enhance software functionalities using Spring Boot and Java.
• Build and deploy solutions following CI/CD best practices and automated deployment pipelines.
• Develop and automate infrastructure components using IaC methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to planning and delivery.
• Maintain and improve documentation, procedures and standards.
• Monitor and improve incident, problem, change and configuration processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of apps, infra and engineering practices.
