ING is seeking a Software Backend Engineer to design, develop and test backend components for its platform. You will deliver production-ready software, apply best development practices, and collaborate across squads to ensure scalable, reliable systems.

The role emphasizes Java/Spring, microservices, REST APIs, and DevOps awareness, with opportunities to work in an international bank environment in Spain.

Formación

• Proven backend development experience with Java and Spring.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, TDD/CI practices and clean code.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and test backend components to meet functionality and performance requirements.
• Deliver production-ready software and ensure reliability across environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional squads and contribute to DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Support production by debugging and fixing issues promptly.
