  • Senior Java Engineer contributing to projects for a global leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking, and savings accounts.
  • High proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software.
  • Ensure stable and smooth maintenance of software in a DevOps environment.
  • Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Work independently and collaboratively.
  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle, including QA and peer reviews.
  • Align with Product Management goals and vision.
  • Innovate within your team and technical domain.

Mandatory requirements:

  • Strong Java programming skills and API development experience.
  • Understanding of all SDLC stages.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and principles (e.g., SOLID).
  • Experience with testing types: Unit, API, Acceptance, Load Testing.
  • Experience with distributed architectures like SOA or MSA.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with REST APIs.
  • Relevant AWS services experience (EC2, Lambda, Fargate, CloudWatch, SQS).
  • Experience with Gradle or Maven.
  • Experience with Enterprise Jenkins.
  • Agile experience (Scrum, SAFe).
  • English at least B2+ level.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in regulated environments such as banking.
  • Docker experience.
  • AWS certification.
  • Experience with TDD and BDD.
