For a European organization in Strasbourg, France, we are urgently looking for a Senior Java Developer.

EU candidates are welcome to apply.

Candidates need to be based in Strasbourg or willing to relocate to Strasbourg.

Work permit is not provided.

Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Development, configuration, maintenance, and documentation of software components based on the applicable design specifications.
2. Development and integration of technological components.
3. Integration with other applications.
4. Development of interoperability components in accordance with the interoperability framework and integration of reusable components from other systems.
5. Development of unit test specifications and performing these using the applicable toolset and infrastructure environment.
6. Design automation testing scripts for conducting unit testing and integration testing in the development environment.
7. Implementation of user requirements.
8. Assist in the preparation/maintenance of technical documentation for components during their development, and other technical documents including installation and operation manuals.
9. Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system.

Profile:

1. Bachelor's degree.
2. +10 years of IT experience.
3. +5 years of experience as a Java software and application developer.
4. +1 year active work experience with CASE tools or equivalent tools for modelling and development.
5. Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Java, Kafka, DB integration, and gRPC.
6. Experience working in an agile environment.
7. Familiarity with VS Code or IntelliJ is an advantage.
8. Knowledge of clusters, Kubernetes, and containers.
9. Good knowledge of the development of web and multi-tier web applications.
10. Fluent in English.
