We are seeking individuals who will contribute to projects with our global clients, including a leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking, and savings accounts. This is a 100% remote position for candidates located in Spain.

Main tasks and responsibilities include:

  1. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software.
  2. Ensure stable and smooth maintenance of delivered software, following the DevOps model "you build it, you own it, and you run it".
  3. Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  4. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  5. Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle, including QA and peer review.
  6. Align with goals and vision set by Product Management.
  7. Innovate within your team and contribute within your technical domain.

Qualifications include:

  • Strong Java programming skills and API development experience.
  • Deep understanding of all SDLC stages.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and principles (e.g., SOLID).
  • Experience with testing types: Unit, API, Acceptance, Load.
  • Experience with distributed architectures like SOA or MSA.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with REST APIs.
  • Relevant experience with AWS services (desired for mid-level profiles).
  • Experience with Gradle or Maven.
  • Experience with Enterprise Jenkins.
  • Agile experience (Scrum, SAFe).
  • English proficiency B2+ / C1.
