Project Description :

We have an ambitious goal to migrate a legacy system written in HLASM (High-Level Assembler) from the mainframe to a cloud-based Java environment for one of the largest banks in the USA.

Responsibilities :

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer who can help perform the migration of the client platform :

1. Write Java code following the new architecture.
2. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within the new Java system.
3. Collaborate with client teams to ensure alignment with project goals and deliver high-quality solutions.
4. Maintain and fine-tune Gen AI application that supports the migration process.

Mandatory Skills Description :

1. Proficiency in Java development (5+ years).
2. Deep understanding of enterprise application architecture patterns.
3. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
4. Experience of work in distributed teams, with US customers.
5. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with the client teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description :

1. Experience with cloud platforms and services (preferably AWS).
2. Experience with Python Language.
3. Familiarity with large-scale system migrations and modernization efforts.
4. Experience with HLASM or other low-level programming languages.
5. Familiarity with Generative AI.
6. Prior experience working in the banking or financial services industry.
7. Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization in cloud environments.
