Job Description

As a Senior BI Developer at Stefanini, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge dashboards and data visualizations that empower informed decision-making for both our organization and our clients. Key Responsibilities

1. Dashboard Design & Development: Create dynamic, interactive dashboards and reports tailored to meet the needs of business stakeholders. Ensure visualizations are user-friendly, visually compelling, and insightful.
2. Data Preparation & Optimization: Collaborate with data engineers to understand and profile data sources. Develop and optimize data extracts, calculations, and models for efficient reporting.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into scalable, technical solutions.
4. Performance & Scalability: Monitor and resolve performance issues in dashboards by optimizing queries, datasets, and data models for efficiency.
5. Best Practices & Governance: Implement industry best practices for dashboard design, data governance, and visualization to ensure data integrity, consistency, and scalability.
6. Documentation & Maintenance: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of dashboards, data sources, and processes, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
7. Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest BI tools, features, and industry trends to continuously enhance solutions and methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
2. Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence and data visualization, with a strong focus on Power BI.
3. Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Power BI for creating dashboards, DAX calculations, and data modeling.
4. Strong expertise in T-SQL for querying and data manipulation (PL / SQL is a plus).
5. Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling techniques.
6. Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze complex data sets and transform them into actionable insights.
7. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. Data Governance: Familiarity with data governance and visualization best practices is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Certifications: Power BI / Microsoft Fabric certification is highly desirable.
2. Additional Tools: Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, Looker) and familiarity with big data technologies.
3. Cloud Expertise: Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and associated data services.
4. Programming Skills: Experience with Python and data-related libraries.
5. Advanced BI Systems: Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and SAP BI / SAP Business Warehouse is a plus.
