Amaris Consulting is hiring a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, deploy, and operate scalable SaaS platforms for payroll and HR tech. You will join multidisciplinary squads, combining backend expertise with DevOps practices to support business-critical services through the full software lifecycle.

The role requires 7+ years as a Backend Engineer with Java and Spring Boot, strong OOP and SOLID knowledge, plus experience with microservices, cloud, and CI/CD.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer with Java (Java 11+) and Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and OOP, plus design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Security) and Hibernate/JPA.
• Solid understanding of microservices architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices-based services.
• Good understanding of memory management and performance optimization in Java.
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Git, Maven/Gradle.
• Experience in cloud environments, ideally Azure (AWS/GCP also valued).
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices: clean code, testing (JUnit, Mockito), code review, documentation.
• Professional level of English for collaboration with international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs ensuring performance, security, and maintainability.
• Integrate and consume messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ) to support event-driven architectures.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, secure delivery.
• Operate services in cloud environments ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Implement and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting for reliability and observability.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents with root-cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Participate in on-call / incident management to ensure platform availability.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams across engineering, architecture, product, and operations.
