SoftServe is building a simulation and prediction platform for a global fashion retailer operating across 200+ online and 90+ offline markets. You will design solutions that enable better decision-making for distribution center capacity, reducing risks of overstock and inventory gaps through data-driven insights.

As a backend engineer, you will develop scalable microservices in Java/Spring, implement real-time data processing, and collaborate with engineers, QA, and stakeholders to deliver

Formación

• Strong proficiency in Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Kafka, REST APIs and OpenAPI standards.
• Familiarity with Maven, Webpack, Grafana, Graylog and SonarQube.
• Knowledge of design principles including SOLID, GRASP, and domain-driven design.
• Experience with microservices and real-time data processing.
• Good communication, estimation, and collaboration in Agile environments.
• Upper-intermediate or higher English and fluent Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Develop backend features for a complex platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliable real‑time predictions
• Collaborate closely with engineers, QA specialists, and stakeholders to align on requirements, architecture, and delivery priorities
• Build and maintain microservices using Java and the Spring ecosystem, ensuring clean architecture and efficient data processing
• Implement and maintain integrations with messaging systems, APIs, and data storage solutions
• Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and E2E testing, applying best practices and testing tools
• Contribute to technical decision‑making, documentation, and continuous improvement of system design and development processes
