SoftServe in Galicia, Spain is hiring a Java backend developer to help build a simulation and prediction platform for a global fashion retailer. You will design scalable backend features, implement microservices, and ensure reliable real-time data processing.

Requirements include Java 11+, Spring Boot, Kafka, REST APIs, OpenAPI, and strong testing practices. You will collaborate with engineers, QA, and stakeholders in an Agile environment to drive architecture decisions and deliver robust

Formación

• Proficiency in Java 11+ and Spring Boot stack.
• Experience with Kafka, REST APIs and OpenAPI.
• Knowledge of testing practices and tools.
• Familiarity with Maven, Webpack, Grafana, Graylog and SonarQube.

Responsabilidades

• Develop backend features for a scalable platform with real-time predictions.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and stakeholders on requirements and delivery.
• Build and maintain microservices with Java and Spring for clean architecture.
• Integrate with messaging systems, APIs and data storage solutions.
• Ensure code quality via unit/integration/E2E testing and tools.
• Contribute to technical decisions, docs and continuous improvement.
