HCLTech in Spain is seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to design and build robust microservices for omnichannel commerce. You will analyze requirements, develop and test Java-based services with Spring, and collaborate across product, QA, and DevOps to deliver scalable solutions.

You'll work with OMS integrations, REST/OpenAPI, and cloud-native stacks (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS) while upholding security and quality.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Java Software Engineer with strong Java 21 and Spring ecosystem expertise.
• Experience building microservices-based solutions using event-driven architectures and API first principles.
• Experience integrating with OMS/Fluent Commerce and omni-retail processes.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger), JSON/XML/GraphQL, and OpenAPI design.
• Experience with MySQL and MongoDB databases.
• Hands-on with cloud-native environments and CI/CD (Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab).
• Knowledge of security practices including OAuth2/OIDC and IAM (Keycloak/Okta).
• Familiarity with IntelliJ, SonarQube, Datadog, Insomnia, Jira/Confluence.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse business and technical requirements to design robust backend solutions for omni-channel retail and order management.
• Develop, test, debug, and deploy Java microservices ensuring scalability and performance.
• Integrate with OMS and retail platforms for order orchestration, inventory visibility, fulfilment, returns and payments.
• Maintain and improve existing services with focus on quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Support QA in testing strategies and contribute to automated testing.
• Advise on technical enhancements and optimisations to improve product solutions.
