Giesecke+Devrient seeks a Senior Java Backend Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of secure, scalable cloud-native microservices for our Trusted Service Manager (TSM) platform. Focus on backend development with Spring Boot 4, cryptographic operations, automation, and test-driven practices in a Kubernetes-based environment.

Responsibilities include API-first REST/OpenAPI, Docker/Kubernetes deployment, PKI workflows, MongoDB data modeling, and extensive automated testing.

Formación

• University degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Extensive experience as a senior backend Java developer.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Spring Boot 4, Spring Cloud and Spring Data.
• Experience designing microservices in cloud-native environments.
• Proficient in MongoDB, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• API-first design with REST/OpenAPI.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end development of TSM backend services.
• Develop robust Java backend applications with Spring Boot.
• Implement API-first architectures (REST, OpenAPI).
• Build and operate cloud-native apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement cryptographic operations and PKI workflows.
• Design data models and access layers with MongoDB.
• Drive automated testing: TDD/BDD, unit/integration tests.
• Promote Scrum, secure coding practices.
• Mentor team members and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Contribute to observability with Actuator and monitoring.
