Job Description: Developer Relations Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Developer Relations Lead to recruit, coach, and lead a growing team of Developer Relations experts. The role involves supporting and disseminating information to empower our Product and Marketing functions, as well as partnering with engineering and marketing leads to drive CORE's thought leadership.

  • Serve as the Voice of the Developer, providing strategic product feedback and Developer Experience insights to the organization.
  • Contribute to documentation, code samples, and sample projects.
  • Represent CORE at conferences, lead developer engagement events, and coordinate DevRel contributions to Content & Event Marketing.
  • Write technical blog posts and tutorials for the CORE blog and partner blogs.
  • Participate in online communities and forums (e.g., Unity forum, StackOverflow) and manage the CORE Developer Community.
  • Engage with developers to troubleshoot issues and develop or oversee software testing, programming, and documentation.
  • Recruit top practitioners within the Developer Relations community.
  • Conduct research on ecosystem trends, software changes, and deepen domain knowledge.

Minimum Requirements :

  • 12+ years of experience in technical roles such as Technical Program Manager, Software Engineer, Partner Engineer, Developer Advocate, or Technical Writer.
  • 5+ years leading a technical or DevRel team.
  • 5+ years developing in environments like Web, Mobile, Desktop, Backend, or Games.
  • Deep expertise in developer advocacy and community engagement.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a passion for technical content that inspires developers.
  • Strong vision-setting and execution skills, with experience in change and project management.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication abilities, capable of influencing and leading across teams and organizations.
  • Ability to build relationships and rapport with diverse audiences to inform decision-making.
  • Proven ability to foster relationships with technical and non-technical audiences and improve Developer Experience through creative thinking.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a drive to ensure developer success.
  • Experience in growing developer relations functions and developing SDKs, client libraries, or developer tools.
  • Broad knowledge of multiple development environments as a polyglot engineer.
  • Active engagement with developer communities and empathy-driven approach to product development.

Compensation :

The base salary in New York and California ranges from $160,000 to $220,000, determined by experience, skills, and qualifications. We also offer a competitive equity program and comprehensive benefits.
