A Senior IT SAP Cloud Architect is an experienced IT professional responsible for designing, planning, and managing SAP solutions in the cloud. The role involves leading SAP implementation strategies, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency of cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure SAP cloud architectures aligned with business objectives and technical requirements, ensuring resource optimization, security, and compliance.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation of SAP cloud solutions.
• Develop and refine the organization's SAP cloud strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud solutions based on technical requirements and cost considerations.
• Implement cost-effective solutions and monitor cloud usage for resource optimization.
• Ensure architectures adhere to security best practices and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement data protection and access control measures.
• Communicate SAP cloud solutions effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud services.
• Maintain relevant skills and certifications in cloud architecture.
• Work within an Agile framework with engineering and product teams.

Requirements

• Higher education in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in IT, focusing on cloud architecture and design.
• Proficiency in designing reliable SAP system architectures and integrating SAP solutions with other enterprise systems.
• Experience with SAP Rise, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and migration to/from AWS or SAP Rise.
• Knowledge of AWS solutions and TOGAF methodology is desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and proactive technical skills.
• Excellent English language skills; other languages are a plus.
• Ability to operate independently in complex technical environments.
