A major insurance and assistance firm is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead projects across business areas. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in project management, is fluent in English and French, and possesses strong leadership and strategic skills. This role involves managing project financials and ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies. Candidates with a background in the insurance sector are preferred.
We are looking for our new Senior IT Project Manager / IT Program Manager to coordinate and manage various projects (within a program or independently) in 2025 across all business areas and countries in line with their strategic plan.

The Project / Program Manager is responsible for facilitating strategic and/or complex projects deployment and implementation of products, from project inception to closure.
Proactively manages project financials, project status reports, change management, governance, role identification, and communication to stakeholders.
Ensures alignment with methodologies used by AXA Services project partners (Agile, DevOps, etc.) in line with architectural, data, safety, and quality standards.
Deploys and implements high-quality new solutions and capabilities alongside their operating model to support company goals.
Proactively engaging all required teams (products, working groups, business functions such as sales, underwriting, compliance, etc.) by establishing and sustaining accountability to ensure active involvement and seamless deployment.
Defining and monitoring project scope (content, cost, detailed project plan) within quality, cost, time, and functional constraints.
Identifying dependencies, maintaining risk registers, managing risks and mitigations, and collaborating with senior business or technical roles to resolve issues.
Organizing and leading Project Steering Committees, coordinating all streams for efficient progress and stakeholder support.
Preparing tailored reports with monitoring, tracking, and decision-making materials, consolidating statuses and KPIs from impacted products and teams.
Leading / supporting business readiness, maintaining deployment and adoption plans, and ensuring realization of benefits as per the business case.
Handing over operation of delivered capabilities to BAU support, facilitating change management, and training plans.
Ensuring project alignment with methodologies used by AXA Services project partners (Agile, DevOps, etc.) in line with standards.
Facilitating project retrospectives and sharing lessons learned.
At least 10 years of experience in Project / Program management, especially in large or international projects.
Knowledge of Process design and Systems Architecture principles.
Fluent in English and French.
Experience in the insurance / assistance sector with a focus on innovation and global impact.
Strategic and practical approach with the ability to deliver results and structure environments for action.
Strong financial background supporting governance implementation.
Excellent communication skills across hierarchy levels, cultures, and countries.
Strong leadership, influencing skills, and ability to manage without formal authority.
Risk mitigation and innovative problem-solving skills.
Adaptability to dynamic, matrix environments.
