We are seeking a highly experienced and technically adept Senior IT Project Manager to lead a strategic data initiative in the pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will oversee the design development and implementation of a data lake and associated interfaces coordinating across IT data engineering and business teams to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management of a technical data lake and interface development initiative.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including data architects developers business analysts and QA specialists.
• Ensure the project adheres to GxP data governance and pharma compliance standards.
• Define project scope timelines budgets resources and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress manage risks and issues and drive mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate communication between IT business stakeholders and external vendors.
• Prepare and present status reports and documentation to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience :

• Minimum 8 years of IT project management experience with at least 3 years in data-related projects (e.g. data lakes data warehouses data integration).
• Proven experience delivering technical projects in regulated industries preferably pharmaceuticals.
• Strong understanding of cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and data lake architecture.
• Experience working with interface technologies APIs and system integration.
• Familiarity with data security compliance and governance frameworks (especially in the life sciences sector).
• Solid background in agile waterfall and hybrid project methodologies.
• Exceptional communication stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills / Certifications

• PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification.
• Agile certification (e.g. Scrum Master SAFe).
• Experience with data tools (e.g. Snowflake Databricks Informatica Talend) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of GxP CSV (Computer System Validation).
